Week 22 states that EVERY thought produces an impression on the mind, which is a seed that will sink into the subconscious and form a tendency that will attract other similar thoughts. So, I guess we should always see our mind as a blank canvas on which we can paint any picture and create our desires. I’ve definitely noticed that people that are focused on what they feel is negative or wrong around them always seem to be swimming in even more negativity. I’ve also heard that there is no such thing as a successful pessimist! But, we know that there is a lot of negative in the world, and some might simply call this reality. If we ignore this reality then are we ignorant? I don’t think it’s about be ignorant as much as it is about not letting that negative reality paint any kind of a picture on your blank canvas. There is always more good than bad, more positive that negative. Remember that darkness cannot overcome light? Has anyone ever told you that you are overly optimistic? If you have heard that then take a good look at the person saying that to you – they are probably not where they want to be in life. Chapter 13 states ‘weak is he who permits his thoughts to control his actions’; I would also add that ‘weak is he who permits others’ thoughts to control his actions’!
Week 22- Master of My Emotions
I love this phrase from The Greatest Salesman. Too often we work ourselves up over things we think really matter. I’d be much better off to take steps back and breath before reacting in an emotional way or putting too much thought and energy into things we cannot control. I live in a beautiful house with a nice yard surrounded by trees and snow. I can allow myself to just sit and take in the beauty. No need to be “doing” something all of the time or thinking. Less is more and I am happy to move forward simplifying my life and taking it more with ease and relaxation.
This chapter talks about the wheel of today’s joy will bring tomorrow’s sadness. I have always said that, that we live on the circle of life. Great day, great day, good day, good day, not so good day, sad, depressed, great and great again. Life has ups and downs and I always no that when I am down it will be pretty good again soon. I let things pass in and pass on. Live in the gently flow of life.
Week 15- I’ll spot you a Ben
Week 15 – Makover
Ben Franklin always seems to pop up in these types of study circles; success, innovation, founding principles, self discovery, etc. He was quite an amazing person. They don’t just let any slouch on the $100 bill, right?!
So I choose ‘taking initiative’ as the first week virtue. It’s not that I don’t take initiative well, but it just reminded me of that ‘future self’ thing we learned several weeks ago regarding procrastination. That really hit home with me and it’s something I’ve been very aware of and I have improved many little task things in my life because of that. I noticed it on both ends with others this week. Some just ‘doing it now’ and others putting things on the back burner so to speak. Either way it has enhanced that awareness in me and motivated me to get those little chores done. The reward is simply knowing that…

Week 14- Cool Runnings
The movie title “Cool Runnings” translates to peace be the journey. This was evident at the end of the movie. With a chance to win an Olympic medal, the Jamaican bobsled team suffered a run ending crash. They did not cry. They were not angry. They did not blame one another. They proved to be champions, and carried their sled down the track, across the finish line, and finished the race. This among roaring cheers from their fans across the world.
This movie was a true test of perseverance and overcoming adversity. It was about teamwork and working as a mastermind to fulfill a burning desire. A test of the will and digging deep into your soul to learn the man within. The men failed and failed again, all along the way to perfect their skills. We are taught to our own heart and not those of negative ill. We believe in ourselves and in the good of others.
We were also taught about ridding the old blueprint, as Junior had to overcome his past weak emotions when encountering his strict father.
Our DMP and burning desire will lead our vision to victory, just as it did to the Jamaican bobsled team.
Week 14 Happy New Year I am Natures Greatest Miracle
Happy New Year!
Great Evening Everyone! If you are reading this you have something to celebrate. We m
ade it through another year. What a way to start it off with knowing I am Nature’s greatest miracle. That statement is powerful within itself. MKMMA is helping me to understand that very lesson in life. Once you learn how to utilize your God-given tools your opportunities are limitless.
From everything that happen in 2014 was very timely my readings along with my life circumstances, The subby is starting to cooperate instead of being rebellious. It’s easy to do and easier not to do, I’ve learned that you just have to do. The readings of Haanel had us to focus on harmony this week, something I long for. He also touch on why we do think so negatively. Once again it was a very intense week. I have to learn to practice what I’m learning…

Week 13- Great minds think alike
So what I am realizing more and more is that so many successful people in all walks of life have the common theme in their thinking of, “the Universe”. They pay attribute to the Universe an are often felt guided in daily activity, notice strong coincidences, or see their desires come through at a much faster rate. They all have vision and methods that we are learning in the Master Keys. And much of this is to simply have the vision of your desire, and the Universe or subconscious will figure the rest out and know how to attain. It feels like thousands of people have read Hanel or Napolean Hill…..this goes back hundreds of years and that most of the great leaders and thinkers of the world all believe in this congruent general philosophy on life.
I received a seasonal message from SUCCESS magazine the other day that included this quote from Orison Swett Marden, past publisher of SUCCESS magazine, “There is only one thing for us to do, and that is to do or level best right where we are every day of our lives; To use our best judgement, and then to trust the rest to that Power which holds the forces of the universe in his hands”
This is all very powerful and we have amazing guidance in our MKMMA with our readings, exercises, and vision boards. I love reading the blueprint every day and my DMP. And I recently noticed that it truly is much more effective when I read slowly and pause in between sentences.
Week 10- Thanksgiving hangover
My husband and I had a very nice trip to South Carolina during Thanksgiving week to visit my parents. We drove and made great time on the way down, 12 hours flat, with our lovely cat, Lucy….the drive back the Saturday after Thanksgiving was a little grueling, 14 and 1/2. Next time we will enjoy flying very much.
I have been a bit slack during the past two weeks in all of the exercises. I brought my workbook on vacation and read the material but not so much stating things out loud. I feel so much better and more focused when I read the GS and affirmations OUT LOUD. It is pretty powerful.
I love the audio recording on my iPhone. My husband and I both recorded ours to baroque music and listen to it in our cars. We are big fans of soundscape music; easy listening in the background and baroque is a powerful addition.
I am excited to get back on track with my visions and goals and making these things a priority. My True Health has been excellent the past two weeks, the best yet!
Have a fantastic week live with your future self every day!!
Week 8- Things are deeper than what they may seem
My husband pointed out to me this week, the main lessons of our week 8 Master Keys. For us to really think about what goes into the end result. For example, we are instructed to first picture a giant ship and the workers aboard…and then go deeper into how that ship came about. How many phases where there in construction? How many companies actually own parts of the ships construction? Can you see the man who poured the concrete for the main deck floors?
When I think this way, I immediately drawn in the reference of my parents. I would not be the person I am today if it were not for my parents. My mother and father were supported of me and my athletics since I was a young child. They would carpool me around and more often than not be in attendance of my 3pm home games in high school. I can still picture sitting in my dad’s office at about 7 years old and him working on my 9 time tables in math. I was always good at the 9’s. The way I was brought up made it easy for me to just simply enjoy my school days and compete to the best of my ability. The FOUNDATION in things make the whole thing. Just as the Master Keys tell us in the very beginning lessons, we cannot start on this journey to attain our desires without knowing and picturing the end result! We have to KNOW, without a shadow of a doubt, exactly what we wish to attain, and what that looks like. We must picture it every day, and remember to “sit for 30 minutes daily concentrating on person we wish to become”
This is the most wonderful system that Mark J and the Fabulous Davene have developed. We have a blue print and guidance to reach our goals, and most importantly, tap into our greatest potential!!
Happy Thanksgiving. My husband and I are spending the week in South Carolina with my parents.
Best,
Nicole
Week 7- The Gal in the Glass
Hello!
The Gal in the Glass. What an amazing concept. To be aware of the gal in the glass, make friends with her, get to know her, spend time with her. Pretty cool. I found this week that I felt really powerful the first few days with this and then shied away towards the end. With all of the MKMMA activities and requirements, we really need to stay focused and committed. I am so feeling my DMP; it has truly allowed me to feel ok and great about committing to my golf, music, and family. It is awesome that I have such passion for these things and I am allowing myself to go with that and make it a big part of my life! (the only reason I would not allow this prior, is because I felt these were extra’s, that my main focus was improving my job, or looking for the next, etc etc) Now I feel free and excited!! And I do have the work too!
My husband and I are off to a ski ball tonight. A big party to kick off the ski season!
